P-47 Thunderbolt
De Republic P-47 Thunderbolt (bijnaam "Jug") was een eenmotorig jachtvliegtuig dat intensief door de USAAF tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd ingezet. Het toestel bleek een geduchte tegenstander tijdens luchtgevechten, maar bleek zeker zo bruikbaar als grondaanvalstoestel.
